My grandmother's next door neighbor is into the Lionel trains. His entire living room is a whole train set. He also has a train set that is used with his Christmas decorations. My father was slighting into them when he was younger. OH! I was watching one of the new episodes of Shipping Wars and there was this guy that spent 10 YEARS working on a model ship!! O.O

I've started attempting to get the babies to associate my fingers with good things. Right now I'm using their food. I've held onto a shrimp pellet and let them poke at it and I've stuck a damp finger tip into a little bit of flakes. By having them eat directly from my finger I hope they'll eventually welcome my hand/arm in the tank instead of going into freak out mode when I'm adding plants or doing tank maintenance.

I always thought that too fishy. I was subscribed to a sea turtle conservation newsletter years ago and was really into sea turtle rescue (still am but not with angsty teenage vigour) and I hate that some coutries don't allow manipulation of the nests for saving them. At least some organizations can lead them to the sea and fend off crabs and birds but once in the ocean so many baby turtles are instant one-bite snacks. They lay such large clutches of eggs because of the hazards of living.. Something like 80% of sea turtles from all 7 species won't make it to adulthood for various reasons.

I still want to go down and work on a sanctuary.

Psych test done! woo hoo! Flyers game tonight but I'm not betting on them :9 Sadly, they're like the worst team so far.

Finished all my vectors and now I'm probably a few days ahead in Chem. Which I already find really boring because I basically know all this unit from other courses.
