I know I have like water fleas or something in my tank. I only see them when the blanched zucchini hits the water. They flock to it.

Doing a bit of last minute studying before heading to class.

HAH I wish I could send everybody my seed shrimp. They kind of jump and hop in the water near the bottom. When I had the assassins and I first noticed the seed things, they looked like water fleas. Now they mostly stick at the top eating the root system of my salvinia and killing it all. Did some digging around and with the right light I could see a pattern on their shell things. Ostracoda. Discusting. NEAT little things!! But now I hate them. I collect them and I hate to do it but I run the hot water in the bathroom, which maybe reaches about 60C or so (very hot for a tap) and squirt some soap in the sink then dump them. I assume the soap and hot water kills them instantly. I sincerely hope they are not collecting in the pipes and planning an attack against me. I hate killing things!!

They're not bubbles....I'm thinkn they maybe planaria. I tend to give a little extra flake for the bottom feeders....we're getting a bristlenose soon, so maybe he'll find them nummy.
