Maybe give him some excellent resources on reading dog body language. He sounds like he may not understand it and possibly ignorant to the fact that pets need their space too.

Once he learns that and really shows interest you can start showing him how to do positive training.

Ugh, I'm so sick right now. I think I caught the flu. All I wanted to do was stay home and finish my homework today and work on some drawings, but no, my parents had to drag me to a family gathering to awkwardly interact with a ton of sick cousins and aunts and uncles.

I saw one of the Luvs commercial.
It started with the beginner mom, she was taking a checklist of all the many things she was bringing while going out with her baby. She got everything packed up, while out the door and forgot the baby xD The baby was looking towards her like "Hey! You forgot me!!!!"

Haha my mice used to pee on me - usually it was either the boys or the girls if I held the opposite gender ones first.

Thanks fishy :) I think he truly believes in Cesar Milan because we have watched the show and saw it "work". Victoria Stillwell has a better ideology I think and I have been trying to show Matt more and more of her long term work. Milan sometimes has dogs bounce back to their original state, which shows it is not a stable method of training.
