i'm REALLY frustrated that i can't find actual species names for tylomelania snails. I found a bunch of things but nothing that tells you WHAT snails are WHICH species. I wonder if there's a book about aquatic invertebrates of Sulawesi >.< ugh. frustrating. obviously i need to become a breeder and scientist and figure this all out!

speaking of snails - someone is giving birth to live snails but there is only 1 adult in the tank unless the young ones are sexually mature?

I watched pond snails "swim". It looks odd but I think they can keep air in their thin shells to do so. They crawl pretty quick too.

Got ready and now going to go downtown and find some things for my sister and get those darn ice caps tickets.

So I found this beautiful yellow VT male at Petsmart that I had to have. I've been looking for Mellow Yellow (his name) for a while now. Since I wanted a betta who could go in the community tank, I put him against pretty much each cup they had at the store. Needless to say MY prove to be deserving of his name. He didnt flare at anybody. When I put him in the tank, he kinda explored and half flared at some of his tankmates but decided it wasnt worth the effort. He decided patrolling and swimming through the plants was much more interesting.

So apparently sitting more than 4 hours a day can increase your risk of cancer?
