Kinetic- I was gonna take a pic of my slow cooker Gumbo last night but I forgot! Here is a pic though of it from a previous occasion. It loos just the same, and tastes JUST as good! Yum!
It looks good pearlfish even though it looks more like jumbalaya than gumbo (they're practically the same anyways). I could make mine the slowcooker if it weren't for the roux part, and it'd be better than standing over a pot for 5 hours! >.<
@laki: I knew they could flatten their rib cages but they're like hamsters from what I understand in that they're only limited by what they can fit their skull through. The critter keeper is still a viable option as I'll set aside the lid and make a make-shift one out of screen, but now that I think about it if I were going to go through that trouble I would probably just make a bin cage.
I add tomato and more spices/seasonings to my Jambalaya, it looks a lot more vibrantly colored, and more soupy, and cus of the roux in the gumbo its thicker. :) I love the flavors of both though.
