Sakura. What is the best way to introduce two male rats who were not litter mates? I got Jack a buddy but he is a bit smaller and I have never had a pair that weren't little mates.

Try a neutral zone neither have been before, maybe a dab of vanilla extract on each rat's nose to mask the other's smell.

Or side by side cages and neutral space with treats for both at once, until they are used to each other enough to not have supervised visits.
