I think I'm gonna try the full strength bleach. The tank this particular pouch came from has always had problems and within a week, the pouch was a nice rust color. I will probably need to recharge the one in my planted tank but the one in my sorority is doing okay so far.

i dont have tanks over 2gallons. so far I've cleared up a 1 gallon, my shrimp tank, and my 2.5 which has a little bit of tannin in it. barely brown...

i was at the pet store to get a betta and i saw some thing that looked like that red and white thing and it gave me the take me home look i wanted to but it soo bad but i dont know a thing about them iam going to google them and i might go back and get him....maybe

you need some good source water too keep them alive. or go RO XD
my friend was buffering his water with aquasoil, and the substrate stopped buffer last week. he had quite the mass die off.

Yea, that's the lame thing about aquasoil.. it loses efficiency after a while so you gotta be careful with it.
