Sorry to hear about your kitty, Sakura! I hope you figure out soon what's causing that fur loss. No surprise here, but mom's cat Mama is losing belly fur too, but it looks different than your cat!! Good luck!
The parents adopted cat (Old man) does the same thing. Except there is literally no fur there, just white kitty skin. He is an old stray that ended up on my Moms doorstep, well patio, one day. He was obv fat and someones pet at some point. His leg was injured and since healed and he has fits of paranoia. But hes loving, and TALKATIVE. Lord I have never met a cat that talks quite so much. Her other cat (the little kitten they rescued, I think I showed you guys pics a long time ago) watches over him. (:
I walked into my parents house before I left for NY last week, I walked into the room with the Old man in it and he wouldn't stop until you walked over and pet him. ;_;
He talks when hes hungry, tired, wants to go outside, inside, uncomfortable, or your in the kitchen.
He eats like a fiend but never gains any weight. We figure hes got something wrong with him, but if we take him to the vet they'll just be like "+10 things wrong, just put him down." && the neighborhood is putting cat traps out to take them to the pound/animal control. && if they catch him they'll put him down. ):
Still alive~ any ideas on how to get it to eat? from my observations it is definitely interested in the daphnia, but is too weak to catch any.
shows on interest in black worms, flakes or pellets...
I'm very tempted to force feed :/ no food = slowe recovery + no energy.
