Mine is a demon, he killed a bunch of my female bettas in only a few short hours, scared my angel fish into hiding, basically attacks anything pretty until my two spot gourami came out and beat him up.
He lives alone in a 10g XD

I believe that our animals can only have as much personality as we allow them to or as we see in them. That Rosie has so much personality and that her stories are so interesting really shows that you appreciate animals and their individual natures, Copper. If you didn't see her as something besides "just a bird" she could never be your best friend. In that respect, you are special too. :3
Have you got a recording of her celebration scream? I think I may have heard it but I can't remember.
Good morning, Yuuie and everyone.
Betta tank change day, plus the hamster cage needs a refresh.
When I have a travel cage and extra money for gas I am going to spontaneously just drive to Sacramento so you can meet her haha. Or you can always come down and meet her if your in the area.
(about to go bird crazy on everyone)
I feel the same way :P. I always tell bird people who are asking questions, or people interested in parrots, that you only get what you put into a bird. It's funny, I've had a lot of people ask me if birds have different personalities. I am always a bit stunned when I hear this, and they are equally as stunned, if not more, when I tell them definitely! Rosie has the mental capacity of a 3 year old, if you've interacted with a 3 year old you know that is incredible. In fact, parrots can actually do things that a three year old still hasn't figured out. More and more parrots are found to have the capacity to make simple tools, to understand very complex ideas, have incredible memories. A recent study
with a goffins cockatoo was amazing! They gave the goffins a almond, and the goffins understood that if it held onto the almond for a while it could later trade it for a cashew which is the more preferred treat. That is amazing, and even kids.
I don't have a new video, but I have a older video from December. In the first half of the video I am covering the sound, so it's not as loud.

A tank doesn't have to be fancy ;) just get a 2g+ container of some sort. I've seen a lot of cheap and large squarish glass decorations. Pop in a heater and your ready to go lol
