I recently began keeping two of my betta girls, Suki and Yuki, in my big 55 gallon(Guppy, tetra, bottom feeder tank) without any trouble...its been about a week or two and every things going as planned...there was a little fin nipping on the betta's part towards each other but now fin's are healing and everybody's settled down great...I'm actually planning on moving the new girls, Luna and Kurai in there once quarantine is over and having a regular ol' sorority like I've been wanting forever...

...and about guppies and salt water, I've actaully heared of some people keeping their guppies in their brackish water tanks and them doing just fine...of course I've never tried salt treating my guppy tank, so I can't speak from experience...

Aww fishman, patience will reward you! Aren't the tannins good for the fish?

I'm going to look if any shops have cherry barbs, I don't think I've ever seen them here..
Yeah, I really should! I will one of these days lol! The ninja girl is Kamikaze, I love her! She never causes any harm just shocks the other girl out of her scales with the little nip.. It was so funny when she did it to Peaches.. Peaches would chase her to the ends of the tank XD Surprisingly Kami has had no nipped fins for a month!

I'm sure they don't even find each other for days in a 55 gallon lol!
I thought it was mollies that thrived in brackish water.. I have no clue about guppies..

@bettawolf- Adorable! Yes Bubbles is so appropriate :D

One of my girls made a bubblenest in QT and the other has a small beard.. I wish the transgender pet problems would end X(

YEs! Bubbles is a perfect name! XD That or Sunshine LOL

...Mollies are the ones that thrive in it, guppies are the ones that can be adjusted to it. From what I've read they can take a little and fine...but probably not alot...
