Oh man. Yeah. I had her out in the bathroom for exercise and I thought I had hamster-proofed the place. Turns out I missed one tiny spot underneath the bathroom cabinet. I turned around for a moment, turned back, and BOOM, she was in the wall. My dad and I tore that bathroom counter apart trying to get her out but in the end I had to leave her to figure her own way out. On the second night, I couldn't sleep so I thought I'd just sit in the bathroom and see if she'd come out. I got her cage and was standing there at the counter putting food in when I looked down and there she was, sitting by my foot eating a towel.
The most stressful 36 hours I've had in a long time. We blocked that corner up really well but she still goes straight to it and starts chewing.
She ended up chewing about 2 pounds of drywall to make a hole big enough to get out.
