I never rearranged any of my sororities or removed the existing females. I would just throw in some pellets for any females in the tank to eat up the front, and then let the newcomer out at the back. Usually everyone was too full and too lazy to do much chasing or fighting after that.
If the newcomer was particularly antagonistic I would just chuck them in a breeders' net and hang it in the tank for a week. Seemed to cure 99% of over-aggression in my females.
Listening to the Eagles at 930am again. Them, Bob Seger and Jakob Dylan are my depressed music.
I got another credit card call- I am now almost 4 months overdue so they're sending to collections. I'm always nice on the phone to them but they go through their questions (and direct challenges ["why did you choose to go to school if you owed credit?"]) ... So, once I'm done school can I regain my credit?? I want to be never in debt like my mom. She fought them off for over 20 yrs.
Darn that they don't seem to be commonly available in Australia. One of the only posts I found about them was in 2005 and they were selling at $35 a fish.
Shame that they get overlooked in favour of the artificial aquarium strains.
Wow. The swords were $22 for the pair and 5 newborns. The platies were $4 for a group of 5. I can't even find any information on the care of the platies. :p
I also found who bought the Betta ocellata, so maybe I can get fry down the road. Though I think if we're gonna go that route I'll order Betta unimaculata off of aquabid. Go big or go home. Posted via Mobile Device
It's snowing here too. Yesterday and the few days before were sunny and mild! So much snow melted that it was like May. Now it's blustery and yucky :<
Kinetic, geographically, where is VA? East? Northeast?
