Still no spawn yet. Think I should do a slight water change/vaccum or pull and recondition?

How long have they been together for now?

I am so cold and it is saying it is 19 degrees still. I am in bed with all my blankets on, with a heat pack on my feet because one of my toes sometimes goes white and numb feeling and I am still bloody freezing.

I wish I could just hibernate through the colder months.

Well they are wild pacific tree frogs. These have lived in ponds all their life. These eastern washington tree frogs live in ponds not trees. Most of the westerns live in trees.

we live in dry scrub and the climate is semi-arid so they need to keep cool. in the summer it gets to 114 degrees Fahrenheit.

*HUGS* to all who have lost a fish. I understand. Rodgers and Professor Plum are both sinky. Rodgers sits in his plant at the surface like Scooter used to do but Plum lays on the bottom of the tank. But both are eating. :/ I hate when they do it this way because I have no idea what to treat them for.

I'm so sorry you lost Paddy, Olimpia. :( Dangit, I wish I could have figured out what was wrong. If only I had been in to fish before I reached college age, then I would have had a concrete dream to follow (fish vet) instead of chasing the impossible dreams of being a Broadway actress or a conductor (and we can all see where those dreams ended up . . .)

Dunno if anyone else is a horse fan but Zenyatta had her second colt! Hurray for Zenyatta! In true Queen Z fashion, she gave birth just before midnight on her 9th birthday so now Z and little 13Z share the same birthday. Oh, Zenny, it's so hard to believe you're 9.

Slept in today. Until 4.
