Went to my local fish store. Got me some java moss. The store also carries Rummynoses! Yay! They were tiny tiny tho. Hopefully they'll grow fast and get too big for the angels. Saw some other neato fishys that striked my fancy

These rummynoses were speedy

Are those top ones celebes rainbowfish and the middle madagascar rainbows?

Our LFS sells celebes and I really want some but I would have to bump the hardness of my water up for them to be happy.

Plus they are like $11 a fish. It sucks to be broke.

Olympia, reasearch "no poo" . It's where you wean your hair off of soaps and then either use baking soda or just water.
As a firm believer in no-poo, I reccommend. I stopped washing with baking soda for a while bc once I didn't rinse it all out and it was all greasy and slippery bc Ididn't silute it enough. It's a nice feeling to use natural products. And the fact that baking soda is the best thing ever for everything.

I went to the pet store today too, saddest lot of CT bettas ever. There was one Vt (maybe spadetail) who looked genuinely happy with his life but that was out of like 20.

And ALL the gourami's were on sale, brutal.

Rummynose tetras are cute! Are you getting some fishy?

I think I will be getting some of them. This store also trades fish. So they'll take my brown kuhlis when I find some stripes. Might as well trade em now tho, omp really isnt taking to them :/

Do the celebes rainbowfish require hard water or neutral?

My new java moss. It'd had been sitting in a cup w/out water, so I'm gonna let it float before I start messing with it. I believe I'll fasten some to my DW and some to my volcano.
