Man, Tiki, Yellowstone is like nothing you've ever seen in Canada or Alaska, promise!
Forget those over rated gysers.
They have freaking boiling ponds full of RAINBOW bacteria.
Best thing ever.
I dunno, if you go there's always a chance of another oppurtunity coming up while you're there, right? Posted via Mobile Device
The concessions company is called Xanterra and they are in several other parks including the Grand Canyon which is open all year and Furance Creek inside Death Valley which is also open all year. They also now own windstar cruises. So yes, it is possible to go from park to park and stay employed with the same comapnt. There is also another company called Deleware North that also operates inside different national parks and a few general stores in the Grand Canyon area.
I wish I had a fully functional RV..then I would be able to take the dog. Not that I would be able to DRIVE the damn thing
Have you applied/been accepted at any other places?
Could you live without Bubbles for that long? (I know you can live without John, but Bubbles?!)
Yeah, I have applied for Shannendoah National Park, Some resturant in cape cod, Grand Canyon, Death Valley, Zion National parks. I had phine interviews but haven't received offers from anyplace else.
I lived without the dog for 2 years 2006-2008. I went to do an internship at Disney and JOhn was supposed to get his PHD and drive back with his dad. He didnt graduate and I ended up going from Disney to Grand Canyon. Then I went bac in 2008 to take the stupid math class that was preventing me from graduating.
o insurance, Tiki? Or no license?
Never took the road test. And No car. I have a hard time judging distance, plus I panic when I tried to drive. Too drivers Ed but that was as far as it went.
That sucks about not getting any other interview offers.
Well, it sounds lik this may be the best chance yet and if you can do without the dog for a while, give it a go. But I don't know what to say about the bus ticket and having to sell all the MLPs. Any Amtrak offers on travelocity or some travel website?
