Olimpia, do they air as many drug ads in Canada as they do in the US? Here, TV is practically one giant drugstore and some of the drugs are for mild ailments. A pill for dry mouth? Really?
Yea I will have to break out the sewing machine. I can hand sew it but it's a sheer fabric and I don't think I am patient enough to fight with it. He is a crazy little rat. I got him a little smaller than what he is now and all of his patches were grey with little bits of brown. His patches have slowly been changing to brown. I love it :3

I do miss my twins though. I had a male pair (litter mates) that I had to rehome in a tragedy. That's one of the reasons why I love my husband so much (he cares about pets). My ex husband was in the army and he was stationed in Germany. He told me to rehome my animals because he was going to send for me in two weeks. I rehome my rats and my cat. and two weeks come and go. He calls me drunk and I hear a girl in the backround.... I quickly found out why he didn't send me my paperwork. Also found out he was forging my name on my checks from the Army and cashing them in Germany.

So basically I got rid of my boys for nothing. But at least they went to a loving home and I could check up on them whenever I wanted. A mentally handicapped man wanted a pet so his parents took the rats for him. He spoiled them rotten with pets and kisses until they died of old age. Bless him.

Shirley, :( Glad that guy is an EX husband. *mutters about lousy guys* But maybe it was one of those meant to be things, y'know? That the mentally handicapped guy needed those rats at that time in his life.

I just can't imagine life without my rats now.

Do male rats stink as much as male mice? 'Cause this little tiny male mouse of mine is the stinkiest little thing out of all my pets, cats included. But I wanted to try male rats next time because they are more laid back than females.

EDIT: Oli, pickled milkweed pods? Are these recipes out of an 1800's cookbook?

Pickled milkweed pods. Apparently the fluff is really good in baby pods. So I got all excited so mother nature needs to hurry up!
I actually thought milkweed was poisonous. It's just really bitter and cooking takes that out.

I thought milkweed was that stuff that you broke the stems off and sucked on and the sap was sweet. o.O See, this is why I don't do natural cooking. I would most likely poison myself to death.

Oh don't do that. xD Milkweed is the stuff that monarch caterpillars eat so that other animals don't eat them! Which is why I thought they were poisonous.
Now I'm trying to think of what you mean...
