Just promise me you'll stay away from mushrooms. No matter how good people think they are at identifying edible ones, they always get it wrong at least once and it's usually not pretty.

Like a few months ago, a well-meaning caretaker at an elderly home thought she'd spice up the residents' food with wild mushrooms from the woods behind the center.

Took out 4 old folks. :(

Awkward! My parents have both been mushroom gathering their whole lives and we have a big batch every fall!

I do wanna learn some day. You can always stick with those totally unique ones.

O.O Well, I guess since your parents are still alive and all . . . just don't eat it if it's got a red cap and looks like it came out of Mario Bros.

Hadoken, awwwwwwwwww. She's adorable!

A little of both, but I'm letting her get used to her cage since its the first night here. Tomorrow morning we'll be playing, though. I plan to take her outside tomorrow as well on her harness and leash. I do want her to explore, but I can see the benefits of using a cage (a safe haven at night, a safe feeling place to sleep, ideal litter box placement, and a place for when I'm at school/work).

Edit: Thank you both so much!!!! She's such a cutie. <3
