So good news! My apple snails were shipped yesterday and will arrive today at Mattsbettas house. Tomorrow we are meeting up and then I will have more gorgeous fish and five new snails!! Yay!!!!!!!!! So excited!

LBF, yeah. I'm a bit worried about the possibility of diabetes too. And yes, when my girl Kelsey had her thyroid issues she lost weight. She had . . . hyperthyroid, I think.

This rat is stripping my bamboo faster than a panda.

Okay. That's what Kelsey had because she lost weight. I wonder if Ris has hypothyroid then. Anyway, he'll be heading into the vet in the next three days. In the meanwhile, I think I shall sleep with a tarp over my bed. I'm really tired of having to change the sheets on a daily basis. Makes me have so much more of an appreciation for my friend who is a maid at Marriotts.

Yeah, it could take a few days but they WILL go away as long as the ammonia stays under control. How high was the ammonia spike?
