Im thinking of doing 5 mins instead of 10. That looked really stressful.

Go with your gut, Fishy. You know your babies best.

Why are you dipping your juveniles for? If it's visibly stressing them, then I think it would probably be doing more harm than good.

Honestly, I would probably just let them heal on their own.

My goldfish got massive ammonia burns on its tail when their cycle crashed and the ammonia skyrocketed (I didn't realise it had happened) and they went away pretty quickly once I got the water quality under control.

If the water quality is good, the fish are healthy, and on a good diet, I would think they wouldn't need to have a salt bath.

Im on the third. I suppose I could dip only these guys and leave the last two to see if the dips really do any good.
Idk. I read lots of good stuff about salt dips.

Most of the time fish recover pretty well on their own. One of my juveniles had a big open wound on the side of its face recently and that healed up without any need for intervention on my behalf.

But they are your fish and you are the one who is actually with them in person so it is up to you to choose the best course of action.

Hopefully they heal up alright. It's always stressful when the young ones get sick or injured.
