What are some important things I'd need to know for a sorority? Ive only kept bettas alone, well no thats not true my current betta has been with platys, neon tetras, a pleco, a golden loach, and a small algea eating fish that reminds me of those zebra tetras, not to mention pond snails, evil.
EDIT: and no, its not like I was going to put a male in it, I just found it curios.
Most important thing, is lots and lots of cover. This is very important. You want it to be as difficult as possible for a female to see or get from one end of the tank to the other. This goes a long way towards preventing weaker females from being chased around.
Think 90% of your tank covered with either live or fake plants.
Also, at least 4-5 females for a 10 gallon tank. Don't go with three or less because once they mature and start getting aggressive you can run into issues.
I have a thread stickied in the care part of the forum that covers a lot of points in more detail.
*hugs* Shirley. In laws. But I do agree that it IS your business if she's driving drunk. I mean, your husband may not want to have a confrontation (totally understandable) but how would he feel if she killed someone?
