Yet my throat got SO swollen, I have not been able to eat or drink anything since friday. The whole reason I went to the ER was because of dehydration.

I dont want to know what a several hr ER trip with 5 kinds of blood tests and a piss in a cup test, plus IV fluids and various meds administered through the IV are going to cost someone who has no insurance

And I found Baron Von Fishie Fins DEAD this morning. He seemed fine yesterday :( He was like, upside down in a C shape...
I would have that checked again. Just to make sure it isn't the real reason why your throat is acting up. It can cause you to have a hard time swallowing, weight gain and weight loss, heavy breathing, tiredness... the list goes on. I have it, got diagnosed at 17.

Hope the reason you are talking to us is because you are a a bit better.

One of the things I love about Canada is the universal health care.

What is McHappy day?

Tiki is too stubborn to get so sick she can't even get on the forum or facebook.

Mchappy day is the day where a dollar from all big mac's big mac meals, coffee, happy meals go to the Ronald mcdonald house in the city.

I think mchappy meals are ridiculous portion sizes for proper nutrition for active children. The odd rare occasion I'm so hungry I go to McD's with my niece I get her proper sized meals. She's active and healthy and needs more calories than what a happy meal provides. Just a blurb.

Hope you're better Tiki!! I hope that visit didn't cost a lot of money.. *shudders at the thought of privatized healthcare* Matt and I were talking about our working future and crossed living in the states off our potential list because paying for healthcare.. Too used to it being free. Maybe I take it for granted, since I haven't visited a doctor in 2 years, let alone hospital which has been longer.

I'm feeling negative today. It's foggy, rainy and probably a bit mouzy out (which is fine) but I have to walk to work in it. Also feeling down about getting a second job, and how my prospects are pretty low.

Sakura, that fish! He's simply amazing.
