If you get a plain wheat bread roll with the actual proper amount of salads (it's like 3 pieces of olive on a 6 inch roll) and a low fat sauce and something like ham or roast beef it isn't too bad.
But the rolls like BMT, chicken fillet, pizza, meatball etc. are very fatty. Same with chipotle southwest sauce and ranch.
Our store was the worst in food safety though. We used to just forge temperature logs and once the freezer was turned off, went to 23 degrees so everything defrosted and then my boss just said to not throw out any of the stock if we could avoid it! When I quit the two fridges were sitting at 10 or so degrees and I just thought we were going to kill somebody. Far too much stress for someone as OCD about cleanliness as me.
We had some guy who would come in regularly and get a double BMT footlong (I think it was like 12 slices pepporoni, 12 salami and 8 ham) with double cheese and then a massive amount of olives and a really fatty sauce. I could not believe he could even eat that all.
I used to like the seafood extender that got sold here as 'seafood delight'. Everyone else hated it, so there always used to be heaps left for me to have on my lunch roll haha.
