Here I am walking the slowest dog in the world, 3km away from home, constant thunder and lightning. Half an hour of stessful walking, we finally make it home. As I open the storm door the monsoons begin to fall. Close call Zara. Close call.
Now the house is shaking from the thunder. "Severe" thunderstorm warning in effect, I'm guessing severe just means "really loud." Posted via Mobile Device
Mocha has no fear of thunder or fireworks. Just stupid things like traffic cones scare her. Actually today we got to the end of the driveway and she pulled away and ran to the door. And eventually I just walked to the edge of the road calling her and all of a sudden BAM rocket ships over and crashes into me and we go for a normal (by her standards) walk. Posted via Mobile Device
Because when they are breed surveying the shepherds they have to stand still while a gun (it's some kind of modified power tool I think) gets shot, our oldest girl loves anything that sounds like a gun going off.
They were using a nail gun on a building site the other day and her head went up and her tail went up and she was ready to go find it haha.
None of our dogs are really scared of loud noises. Our oldest male is very calm and the two girls learned that those kinds of things aren't anything to be worried about because he never reacted.
