Went out and got some things done today so we're a little closer to closing on our new house.

Bought some cherry shrimp and 2 mystery snails. ^.^ The shrimp are already adding up, though. o.0

I'm thinking about trying a pair of these guys out

supposedly one can keep a pair together? According to the IBC:
Quote:
Betta albimarginata can be housed in pairs, species tanks, and community tanks. Pairs can be housed in a 10 gallon tank, groups should be housed in a 20 gallon tank or larger. Pairs should be given cover such as caves and plants. In a pair or species situation it is possible that fry could be discovered in the tanks. For best results remove a brooding male.

Yeah albis are one of the most peaceful species of wild betta. If you keep more than a pair it is recommended you keep more males than females as being mouthbrooders females can breed a male ragged.

So....my outdoor plant tank has taken off quite nicely. Started it June 20. Has been JUST over a week. Had slight algae build up, but nothing a 100% water chance couldn't fix

So the before

And after. The ancharis seems to be the only one having the hardest time...
