Oh glory, that fish's fins are clear!! Cool!

Took about an hour or more to hand clean Lude's tank, getting all the hair algae out. Unfortunately I did not get it all, it's kind of wrapped closely to the driftwood and I kind of like the look.

Olymp, hopefully the head tilt is not gone as bad as untreatable. He might have to adjust to living with a head tilt and a lot of rabbits do. DON'T let your friend touch your rabbit after handling hers though, e.cunicuni is sooooo contagious. All rabbits have the bacteria in their bellies it's only a matter of what triggers its dormancy or whatever. Science talk. Your friend will have to learn how to inject penicillin in her rabbit daily :/

Well Waffles stayed home. :p
I think it should be fine since she just noticed it. She said he had a white fluid coming out of his nose too.

Wow. She just told me she had to pay a $300 base emergency fee, on top of whatever everything else will cost. Vets can be jerks.

Yep it somehow doesn't surprise me but what a sin. Really forcing people to put a price tag on their pets like that. Matt's mom is having her cat PTS today too bc long term vet care is not enough to enhance quality of life.

I have two thing knocked off my 14 item list for today. woo. it's going to be a long one.

^ Yeah, I really ought to sweep and mop my apartment today. That's the curse of having all hard floors and five furred animals -- have to at least sweep practically every day. But it's a lot better than having carpet, IMO.

I want a Newfoundland dog but the amount of shedding would mean daily sweeping and it's bad enough in my 1 bedroom apt that I barely sweep once a month. I might suck it up and get a Newf anyway one of these days. French mastiff first and a little terrier too!
