omg, take care of yourselves. Drive carefully! We're supposed to get snow tomorrow but I don;t know how much will actually fall unless it warms up a bit. We're having a bit of a cold spell at the moment, today was -20C without warning.
Turns out, I was wrong. After riding my bike to school for my exam I realised today was not too cold for snow. And then had to bike home in about 3 cm of snow. It's still going out there too. Finished my exam in 30 minutes. I think there's something to be said for that. Last night I finished my exam in 45 minutes. Tomorrow I doubt I'll be longer than a half hour. Loves my program! I spent enough time worrying about exams in my undergrad.
Between Sunday and Today, we've gotten like ten inches! Fortunately my med class got cancelled, which I am grateful for. If they hadn't, I would have had to drive in this craziness. Three people that I know around here have been in accidents today!
Froze my behind off walking to my exam today. At least I feel like I did really well on it...
Also, my neck of the woods made Lonely Planet's top ten places to visit in the US for 2014, as in, we made the number one spot! Looking for an unconventional and cheaper beach destination this year? Come to Michigan's Gold Coast! I speak from experience when I say Grand Haven is beautiful in the summer ;) And if art, festivals, and craft brewing are your scene, Grand Rapids is only 40 minutes away too!
[This plug has been brought to you by, I'm excited to see my hometown listed prominently in a list somewhere!] [Also, back in 2010 I think, we were the top family friendly beach in American according to Good Morning America, so... get thee to the beaches!]
