It feels nice outside. It's a cool 58F here today.

Sigh, I was lurking on a fish breeder's FB page and they are advertising a litter of cross-bred puppies for sale. Along with the usual disclaimer made about the 'robustness' of cross-bred dogs compared to purebreds. I wonder if they can back that up with any actual testing of the parents for health defects.

We're in for a hot week this week. It is apparently going to be 43 degrees celsius tomorrow, and then 40-41 degrees for the three days after. I'm just praying there aren't any fires started in our state.

I just finished Breaking Bad. I think that was the most perfect episode of tv I've ever watched.

Hello everyone.

Tiki, one thing I have found with my tanks and fish poo is that a really good bacterial additive works WONDERS. I use Nutrafin Cycle and I no longer see poo. It breaks it down so the bacteria can get to it. Highly recommend it.

Coffeehouse chat.

Trumpet snails will eat the waste too, if you don't like additives. I've not heard of anyone using cycle to break down waste before. I don't know much about that whole line of products though so that's not saying too much.

Show tanks 125, 125, 90, 10, 5, 2.5
