Thanks sassy, but I wasn't stressed until he started acting like this. The only thing I have done is a water change and pretty much leave him alone.

Ok guys, I have an empty 5gal, planted.... what do I put in it? NOT BETTA... but is there anything else interesting? I have decided to keep my Bettas in smaller tanks.

I have snails in another tank, I am not fond of shrimp. "Personally" I don't want a Betta in a tank this size.

Oh and shrimp are $4.97ea here O_o

The smallest gourami, a dwarf gourami, needs 10g minimum.

Dwarf Gouramis need 10gal min. I have plans to get one for my 10gal community when I find a larger tank (20g+).

But good choice! I can't wait to get one!!!

OH OH OH I KNOW!!!!! Get a dwarf pufferfish! They get an inch long, need allot of plants, 80 degree temps, a power filter, and the tank needs to be cycled, but they're cute :D
