I am back all, chicken in marinading and all is well. yay for home made fresh herb bbq sauce marinade :P

so tank update. When I was draining the water so he could be at his plant I found 2 of the 5 shrimp... dead...not torn apart like he did anything... just dead... Still no sign of the other 3 yet..

Oh to ass onto the thing that he is floating back up i watched him swim down and then his tail end started float up and then was sorta vertical going up. did this twice and then he gave up and swam to the top.
Sounds like SBD no?

"30 Minutes or Less" was pretty good, I wouldn't pay to see it but it's worth watching on DVD if your into that kinda stuff. It's pretty awesome my sister found out how to get prescreening tickets, it's fun seeing a movie before it's released XD Maybe next time you can come :P

Oh ya source waters testing at 40ppm. sighs. Figures lol I wonder if PH and Nitrates are related at all... because my Ph is high(like my test can't even read it because its soo high) like around 8.6ish?

does anyone here have rubber lipped pleco's or bristle nosed pleco's? I'm thinking of buying one since they stay pretty small, I'd prefer the bristle nose but I know I'm going to get cut up by it's hooks at some point, and I like the rubber lipped because it looks interesting but it will get bigger then the bristle nose and have more waste.....

Also anyone have Bamboo shrimp?

Bettawolf: Wow, your pH is crazy high. Too bad you can't use spring water because your source water is crazy. But it seems like your bettas have adjusted to things, more or less so that's good. Hopefully your girls will do better in the 20g with more space.
