haha I won't be buying anymore till next month sometime. The next betta coming my way will be a halfmoon I will inherit most likely. That is why I am looking at the split tank. Take the HM and the VT I have and will inherit and move them into the split. Help me save room and make their lives a bit better I would think. I figure splitting a 10 two ways should be more than fine for them.

anyone know if theres like fruit or things that are safe for bettas? I heard they can eat oranges O.o can they eat apples? or banana? (obviously cut VERY small)

I don't think I'd feed my fish fruit. Fruit isn't natural for then, They're carnivores.
