I decided! It should be a missing scale. I read the words wrong. It says it doesn't seem fuzzy lol

My betta had something like that, I assumed he had scratched himself on something, and caused it to pus. I put in 2 tsp of aquarium salt in his 2.5 gal tank, and he was all better in 2-3 days.

yup. raised or missing scale. a bit of aquarium salt and all better!
if your girl is anything like mine, she'll need a daredevil's helmet. mine seeks out the current and body-surfs. even when i had a baffle, she would find whatever current there was and zip right down, turn around and do it again. i wish i had filmed it when i had the water bottle baffle hooked up.. she looked like she was in the spin cycle of a washing machine, and loving every minute of it! she'd shoot out the other side, turn around and swim right back in over and over! i finally took it off because i was afraid of waking up to a blended Roxie LOL

Yeah she does all that too! Lol! Never a dull moment with my girls -_-'... I put a tablespoon of salt for every five gallons in my tanks anyway... Should I do a partial water change then?
I'm so happy, it didn't seem to be mold after reading up on columnaris! I hope it stays that way...
