From Lunch to a Betta Fish?

So originally, it was lunch at Panera, but there's a petco right next to our Panera, so my friend and I went into Petco. Always having a fascination in betta fish, I checked them out, and ended up spending my lunch money on this female veil tale! Her name is Lulu(:

Her little flare is so cute(: I'm planning on buying a 5 gallon tank, and putting Lulu in there with some cories and a ghost shrimp. She's in a 1.5g tank right now, and I plan on buying a male betta to put in the 1.5g. Any suggestions on what type of male? (etc. Halfmoon, Crowntail, Delta Tail.)

haha I would spent my pizza money on that, she's so cute, and bright! :D!

Lovely name too, love the flare action xDDD

I'd say 1.5G is quite small. you might get tired of the frequent water changes to try to keep the water clean on it, but yeah..
I love halfmoons, although I never saw one IRL, but I love my veil tail too xD!!!

A 5g wont be enough space for cories, a betta, and ghost shrimp. If you take away the cories though you'll be fine ^^ You could add cories if you got a 10g, but no smaller.

Haha, any male will be fine in a 1.5g as long as you keep up with the 100% every other day water changes that are needed. Get any male that catches your eye ^^

She's lovely! I'm sure she'd be thrilled to have a 10g. :)
