nematode outbreak..?

hmm, it seems that since summer has arrived, every single time i do a water change theres some sort of nematode outbreak for a few days,, and then itll just resolve itself.. its not a huge outbreak, but they definitely become visible and noticeable. i was thinking maybe the new water is different.. but its from the same source. my bettas dont seem affected by it at all,, so im not really worried.. im just curious to see what you guys have to say about it.
