Wink First Betta

This was a gift to my son from his Aunt, but he is 2 so you know how that works. I will be the main care giver..and now I am kinda in love with these fish!
His name is BLUE. I think Jared and Blue like eachother!

Didn't realize how hard it was to get pics of fish.

I love the first pic! it's awesome when kids discover a hobby ;)
I'm just wondering if the white dots on your betta's face is on the tank or on him ... if it's on him it could be a nasty little parasite called ich. Best of luck with Blue, he's gorgeous!

Hello, I just wanted to suggest: I went to PetSmart and got a Kritter Keeper, 5gal, for $5. Lot cheaper than a tank from Wally World and works just as well. I'm not an expert but since no one else is answering: You could try putting aquarium salt in his tank, not food salt aquarium. Follow the instructions, other than that I'm sure there is something in the Betta Fish Diseases and Emergencies section. Good luck and Congratulations!! He’s a beautiful fish. :)
