Last Imports of the Summer~

Let's see if I stick to that lol
The first 4 are Ninebettas bettas, the last one is from Korwhord.
All females except the first one :)
Some of you might remember him from the Aquabid thread, I just couldn't help myself!
Alcyone (Kingfisher)

Blue Marble & Black Koi-Don't worry, they aren't fighting, no fin tearing or anything, just flaring at one another-they are spawn sisters. If they didn't have egg spots I'd almost think they were male plakats! They both have adorable blue eyes.

Blue Red Multi (sibling of Alcyone)

Koi HMPK- also has blue eyes!

If I can get all my tanks under control and figure out why the last 2 spawns died, then yep, I plan to breed them :)

Wow the first picture really goes into detail. He looks like the fourth of July! What are their names? The females looked like males at first, i thought you put two males together and they were about to fight. They are all Amazing!

The first picture looks like it was either photo shopped to sharpen the pic or something because in the pictures that you took of him, he didnt look like you can see each scale separately. And thats not because of them being blurry either.

Well it doesnt really matter, you have such a beautiful set of fish!

Thanks :D I haven't decided on names for the girls yet- I'm making lists atm and trying to decide where they will live permanently. The male is Alcyone, which means Kingfisher in Latin.

bettalover2033- I agree, Ninebettas probably photoshops his pics but he probably has a much better camera and far better lighting than I do so I'm not surprised his photo looks so nice compared to mine. He really isn't the most photogenic fish lol

When I first noticed that the blue marble had jumped the barrier and was flaring and wiggling like a maniac I seriously had to take a second look. But nope, they both have really obvious egg spots and now they've settled right in. Not a single torn fin even with all the flaring.

He actually looks like a kingfisher O.O His coloration is really similar to the female. XD Is that why you named him that? I'm also bird watching a lot, pretty much whenever I'm outside, and I read ornithology books and so I tend to be reminded of birds easily by stuff like this. most Bettas remind me of some species of bird because of their coloration lol

Here's the female belted king fisher if you don't know what it looks like.
