Question All the tablets

Ok I have to ask this. Am I wasting alot of money? I not only buy the water conditioner for my water changes but I also buy, ph tablets, ammonia clear tablets, nitrate tablets, and another conditioning tablet. Someone recently told me all I need is the water conditioner and maybe the ph tablets. Was he right? Have I been wasting alot of money for over a year of having my betta tank?

Yup. Sorry to break it to you but you're wasting your money. :-/ All you need is the water conditioner. If you do the water changes as often as you should, your ammonia and nitrite/nitrates should be at 0 or close to that. And as for your PH, unless it's ridiculously high or low, you're okay there too. Fish are pretty adaptable to PH unless you want to breed them.

I would suggest you get Prime water conditioner - the best product on the market, IMO. Economical also since you only need to use 2 drops per gallon of new water!

Yeah, I'm thinking when I run out of Stress Coat (half a bottle) I'll try Prime next.
