He's better as a Western horse... (not fond of jumping, which is odd because he has won in many competitions apparently)- which is really a shame because he's a gorgeous horse. And I've recently noticed that he's slightly pigeon-toed in the front, which wouldn't do us any good in eventing at all.

He isn't ridden often, and has a few bad habits- he holds his head up quite high (was originally broken to drive), and again isn't fond of jumping...

Sometimes when a horse doesn't want to jump anymore he can either have a leg injury or back injury, sometimes going blind. Even good jumpers start refusing from being jumped too much. I'm not a big fan of jumping. Just for fun.
