Thumbs down Golden Pearls

Hi,
I am new here and I really enjoy reading through the post, lots of great advise here!
I am new to Bettas,I have been raising and breeding different Tropicals for about 35 years.
My wife wanted some Bettas,so now I am hooked(knew it would happen sooner or latter!!!).
My question is:
Has anyone here given thier Bettas the Golden Pearls, they come in many different sizes and have alot of protein.
I just wondered if they were sutible for Bettas?
Thanks in advance for any advise on them.
Bill

I don't really know what those are... you don't mean the actual pearls, that are used in like jewellery do you?

It's some kind of food, right? Available only on ebay or something like that. Supposed to be the ultimate food, if I recall. Someone on here did feed their betta Golden Pearls but I can't remember who it was. I'll think on it.

I just did a bit of research on Golden Pearls. It seems that they are mainly a fry food that is supposed to replace newly hatched baby brine shrimp, which some people find a pain to feed. It's not really for adult bettas.

I feed Golden Pearls to my bettas twice a week to change up their diet. I believe the ones I have are the 500-800 micron size. You can always send the seller a message asking - that's what I did! :)

Hi,
That is the size I was thinking of-lots of protein!
I have used the for my other fish on ocassion.
I orderd a couple of things from Kensfish.com,one thing i don't understand-his Betta pellets have Wheat as thier #1 ingrediant!!
Go figure!!
