Snails? Tell me...

He ate almost half of one initially! He was on it for hours, there wasn't anything for him to eat at the petsmart I bought him at. He's been introduced to the tank and Brutus is looking at him but not flaring or anything. The snail is dark yellow and the gravel is a mix of tans blacks and various shades of brown so I'm hoping he won't be noticed. Brutus is mostly concerned with building bubble nests and when he's being fed next so I'm hoping it goes well! =] If he gets aggressive I have a super chill betta who is getting on in years to place the snail with.

well for the most part, he may just go unnoticed, or if he does get noticed whilst inching away on the gravel/glass, i dont think that your bettas really gonna care too much. if brutus didnt really care during the introduction, then hes probably gonna leave it alone. lol i didnt notice you said 20 gals.. so thats why i was unsure.

Yeah and he mostly hangs out near the top. So far so good! He seems oblivious. I think he's going a little blind..So that might help
