Exclamation going away- can't take fish. help?

I am going to Virginia for 7 or 8 days, and I need to know how I will care for my fish! I can't use the slow-release capsules as I do not have a filter. ANSWER BEFORE AUGUST!!

For only 7 or 8 days a healthy betta should be able to survive, they can go up to 2 weeks and possible over. Good luck :)

Just make sure you do water changes the night before you leave, and as soon as you get back! Feed them as much as they will eat just before leaving, but make sure uneaten food is taken out to minimize water contamination. They can live unattended without food and remain healthy for around 2 weeks. It's hard to leave them, I know. I've done it this way a few times before and I haven't had any problems yet. Good luck!
