When to feed?

I'm sorry if there is already a topic on this. I normally feed him 4 times a day
accordingly: 8:30am,12pm,4pm,9pm.
But, I don't know if this is working. he's always at the top. and swimming with his head up.
I feed him pellets. :)

I feed my betta two times a day, 2 pellets each. How many pellets are you giving it?

O__O;

That's a bit much... I guess it also matters how much you are feeding them...like, 1 pellet 4x's a day isn't bad. But if you're feeding 3-4 pellets every time you feed, you're actually doing more harm to your fish than good.

I feed mine 2x's a day - 3 pellets in the morning and 2 bloodworms at night.

1 each time, so a total of 4. But I'm thinking of doing,
Morning, Dinner, Night.

I just think it's easier to feed 2x's a day. What with all the water changes I have to do, it's easier on me xD

I keep him with a snail, who will sometimes pick up on the food that is un-eaten. but, Of course I'm still worried that he's being underfed. Because I can't tell wether he ate it or the food sunk to the bottom.
