New Rescues: Watch Their Progress!

I rescued two Bettas from walmart yesterday (see my post in the diseases and emergencies board). I didn't think they'd live through the night, but they have and I couldn't be happier.
They are both very young and pale, but I think they will be gorgeous in a few months (they both have lipstick!) Any other guesses on color? And I'm new to betta colors, so if you can find pictures of the possibilities, I'd love to see them!
I will post more pictures every few days or every week or so as they develop. Yay mystery fish!

Male Red Crowntail (with white face maybe?)

Male Red, White, and Blue(? He's very pale) Also crowntail.

Aww, what cutie! I think the first one is a dirty Cambodian (which means the body isn't a pure flesh color), and the second one is just a regular Cambodian.

I know people say the definition of rescue when buying is a debate-
but I don't think anyone can debate coming from Wal-Mart that it certainly is a rescue. I don't think they'd survive in those stores no matter what you did. x-x
I love to watch these threads, so glad you got them out... I can't wait to see them healthy and happy, they already look loads better, pretty boys :D
I want a red white and blue some day to name him Patriot, haha :D

They are continuing to do better. Physically, there's not much difference, but the are both active happy and eating well :) I'm starting to get attached, so the better keep swimming ;) haha

Well, the second little guy has completely changed colors! He now has an all red body with greyish/green/black fins! And the mystery continues.
The boys are still unnamed but I will post their pics in the same order as above.

Male 1:

Male 2 (yes, the colors are accurate in the pictures. I'm amazed):

^His signature pose ;)

I assume the first pic is how they were at WalMart? They look really good and best of luck on getting them healthy.
