What is wrong with my fish?

So i've had my crown tail for about a week. The first day I put him in his 5 gallon tank, he was swimming around and flaring all the time. Beautiful healthy fins and colorful as seen in my picture. He ate that night, surprisingly. Now the past couple of days he hasn't been his active self from when I first got him. He's been hiding in this little rock thing that he swims into and almost stays there all day and rarely comes out to swim.

He hasn't eaten since the first day i've gotten him.. so like maybe a week. The PH is sitting around 7.6 and stays that way, ammonia nitrate and nitrite levels are good, the temperature reads 78 degrees. So what is going on with him exactly?

Hi. More information please: when you say that the ammonia/nitrite/nitrate levels are good, what are they? What types of water changes have you done? Is there a filter in the tank?
