Grrr.....Petco

Okay, so I went to petco today to get something for my fish, and just to look, I went over to look at the leopard gecko, and there was a employee watching the tarantula. So, he sees me and says " hey kid, wanna see something cool?" and im like no, not really, sure, and then he tells me he found a beetle and put it in the spiders tank to see if it would eat it. So i asked him where exactly he found it, and he said on the floor!!!! Is this unbelievable or not? He doesnt know what germs that bug has, what its eaten, and even if its poisonous!!! And this thing was huge, some kind of mayfly, i think.

What an awful thing to do! You should report him to the store manager. They can't be careless with their animals like that.

And I bet tarantulas aren't cheap either!!

I wouldve reported him, but for three things:
1. He probably wouldn't listen to a kid
2. He probably doesn't care about anything but money
3. I have absolutely no idea who runs the store( as far as I know, it was that guy)

wow.. shows you just how much they really care about their animals. no wonder the fish sections are always are in such a sad state..
