My journey to Petsmart! :)

My local petsmart is having a sale for the holiday weekend :) so I stopped in after looking at TVs at Best Buy. The have like a zillion item on sale. I went back to the betta section, instinctly, and saw they had a whole new selection of water babies!!! They usually have a few CT and VT but nooooooow they have the fancy plakats ( the really bright vibrant "dragon scales" ) in MANY colors for $8.99 each , halfmoons for $6.99 each, many new CTs including black-fire CTs for $5 each :D I feel madly crazy in love with this lil dragon scale boy who was red and white :3 but my man stopped me XD said we had too many bettas ( pffh thats a myth...6 isnt enough!!! ) If I had an extra tank.... he'd be MINE!!! >: D They have these cute leaf hamocks for bettas now I wanted to get for Ryu so he can stop sleeping on his thermometer. I wanted to get moss covered rocks but instead I got a cool book, the Betta Handbook by Ph.D Goldstein, the long book mostly about breeding, wild bettas, and extra info. Im glad Petsmart is getting so many new betta types :) If they sold NLS foods, Id go there everytime instead of Petco.

You let something like a spouse stop you from getting a DRAGON SCALE BETTA?!?!? WTH?!? you foof!

I really want to go by and see if mine are carrying those yet. They have the tags up but none yet...

I am very good about impulse buying because I change my mind every few seconds and what I think looks gorgeous one second, I make a few laps around the store, and the betta becomes 'ehh' too me.

BUT, if they have super nice HMPKs, I must buy....

...but, but, If I dont listen to him he will take my debit card in my sleep, fill a large mixing bowl with water, and freeze my card into a big ice cube :(

hmm... Im trying to convince him to lemme get more bettas.... I conditioned 3 females so the plan is the breed one of them with one of my males. However, If I get lots of females... say, 4 more I can just straight up set up a sorority. That will leave 3 extra tanks. Maybe for a male plakat!? :3
