I've never once seen a female king betta. At least, not one labeled as a female king betta.

I know, I love Winnie. She's so goofy and reckless that she's fun to watch. My betta girl on drugs!

Then all of our little betta girls are betta princesses. At least, they sure can act that way.

hmm, ive actually heard that before to. i dont see it at all though, in my sorority. ive had it set up for about 4 days now, and there has been no color-coded fighting lol. maybe it just happens that your red females are aggressive? i dont have any red bettas (the closest i have is a pink one and shes a wuss lol) but i have like 4 in various shades of blue, and none of them are the tank bullies. but hey, who knows?

I'm thinking I must have gotten more aggressive girls and it's a bizarre coincidence they turned out to all be red. It will be interesting to see what happens when I start another sorority on down the road. But one of my most aggressive girls was the red girl who used to be blue, so who knows?

I think my most aggressive girl is Satsuki (opaque white), followed closely by Ebony (black copper) and then Aoki (blue dragon). So, from that, I'd say color is just a coincidence! ^^; Though I swore off buying solid red girls a long time ago since they did tend to be hard to put in a sorority... All the solid reds and green wild colored ones I bought turned out overly aggressive but I always choose the larger more active ones.
