If you can't find oak leaves, yes, use the decaf green tea.

What do I do now?
I've stopped his salt treatment today, and he looks no better than when I got him. In fact, he looks worse. D:
I can see his fins some more, but the white growth around his gills is larger. Unfortunatly, I lost my camera, so no pictures.
What do I do now?

Is the white growth fuzzy or raised...he is still clamped and floating...how is his appetite.....I would keep some oak leaf water steeping and start 50% water only changes for a couple of days and then start Epsom salt 2tsp/gal...pre-mix and use this the same way you did the aquarium salt

I can't really tell... it looks kind of fuzzy, but not much. He's still clamped, and he only eats a little.

If its fuzzy..(a pic would really help)......I would do high dose aquarium salt 3tsp/gal and tannins along with 100% daily water changes with the premixed treatment water while in a small QT container floating in a heated tank to maintain a water temp in the 75-76F range for 10 days, however, since you just completed a 10 day salt treatment...I would do-100% daily- fresh like temp dechlorinated water treatment for 2 days....

If you have access to mosquito larva I would offer them....collect, rinse then feed several 2-3 times a day to help boost his immune response.....

Good luck and keep us posted....

I'm sorry to report that Warrior peacefully passed away today.
He had a good life. :(

And, Silver has red patches on the top of his head and on his face... could it be ammonia burns?

Aw, no, I'm so sorry you lost Warrior. The two of fought a good long fight together and I'm certain Warrior knew you loved him very much.

Could be ammonia burns. Change the water ASAP and then keep it super clean for the next few days to see if the burns get any better. Also possible he bumped up against something too so check for any sharp or rough decor. Hope he gets better.

I'm going on vacation in a few minutes... it takes me a while to change his water, so I can't do it right now... :(
Will he be okay if he stays in his current water today, tomorrow, and most of the next day?

What size is his tank? It would be best if you could change even part of it, just scoop out maybe several cupfuls and replace that. But if you can't, he should be okay as long as you change it right when you get back.
