I don't think he's a crown, looks more like a VT. Colours are nearly the same. I like his fins, but seems like he has a little rot. Nothing that some fresh & clean water can't repair, though! :)

His colour has become darker already! Seems like he's settling in. But his fins are quite bad don't know if I should medicate him.
I had to keep a piece of plastic between their bowls 'cuz even though their bowls are a little far from each other, they still keep flaring all the time!

Lol! Fishy telepathy :D
If you think its really bad you can do the AQ salt drill :) But if that plant is real, you'll have to remove it first. Btw what happened about your shrimp?
I went to the i love pets shop, its awesome but realllly expensive neh? I wanted a running wheel for my mouse, it was 550! For a piece of plastic lol! I got mine for 300 (still a lot but what can you do?)..

I'm out of town for a month. Leaving these two at i love pets. I just hope he takes good care of them.
And as for the aquarium salt, those are live plants & my adult shrimp is in there.
As for the baby shrimp, I couldn't find any. I suppose they all died! :/
So, I'm just gonna rely on clean water to help the new boy out.

Yeah I hope he does. The last time I saw a betta there he was swimming with the goldfish :(. Are you paying him or is he doing it out of human kindness? Aww poor baby shrimp! How come you didn't find any, that's weird dude!
