Parasite Medication for Mollies

At the house I'm dog-sitting for, there is this huge fish tank with 3-4 orange mollies and a few otocinclus. Two of the mollies are pineconing, and the smaller one has got some parasite poop going on at the moment.

Would using parasite tabs be safe for both species of fish? Those are the only two species in the tank, and I believe the larger of the two pineconed mollies may be almost ready to give birth to some baby mollies.

I didn't want to put this in the betta diseases and emergencies since it doesn't relate to bettas at all.

I'm waiting for the owner to respond to how many gallons the tank is before putting any sort of medication in, but the parasite medication treats 10 gallons per tab.
