2 males...1 female...divided 10gal? hElp!

So, as I've probably mentioned, I'm planning on getting a 10 gallon and 2 dividers, making it so I can have 3 Betta's in it.

Well, I have 2 males that I want to put in there, but I want to buy a 3erd one too, so if I buy a female, would it be bad?

would it make the males get all weird when she has breeding stripes?

I would like suggestions please! : )

If I cannot keep a female, then I will keep a male in there and make a sorority within the next year...

I had mine set up like that with no problems what so ever. She may all ways be a bit eggy though. No big issue.

Alright, thank you!

So if I put Philip and Tigger and a female in a divided tank, it would be OK.

Yeah, I put Peterson (the female) in the middle and the boys on the sides so they didn't get stressed being next to each other, kept her with plenty of plants and caves to hide if she didn't want male attention. The dudes would go near the divider when she went to see them but they weren't prowling if she wasn't there stalking her. She became the boss of the tank and she knew it.

how funny!

I'm going to get a 10 gallon for 3 fish and then when I have a 20 gallon, I'll use the VT female I want to get as the first fish to go in.
